My birthday is comming up...


I don't know where to start, so I'll give the basics and edit later:

I had the worst Christmas ever thanks to a thief.

I turn 23 on January 15th, I don't expect that day to be any better.

A friend drew me this for Christmas. It's the only gift I got so it means a lot to me.

My dad and at least 8 other people invested $7000 each in starting a business. One of the guys involved took all the money and ran off.

Oooh...ouch! I hope the police catch him. At least they know his name which will be easier to catch him than a stranger jacking your money.

They caught him, but they can't find the money. His wife divorced him, his boss fired him, his bank forclose on his house, and one of his creditors repossed his car. The money is gone, all my dad can do is file it on his taxes.

Gambling could do it too. But yes, depending on the drug, it's easy to blow all your money on it once you're addicted.
